I first became involved with swimming over 15 years ago through Surf Life Saving and more recently Triathlon. I have been coaching both for the past 8 years across a wide range of availabilities including Children, recreational swimmers through to elite level triathletes.
I hope to pass on some of my knowledge of swimming to help as many people as possible to meet and achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.
I recently moved away from swimming competitively after being heavily involved for the past 19 years. I competed at numerous Commonwealth and Olympic trials as well as took opportunities to race and train overseas. I have returned to university to complete my Teaching Masters, staying involved in swimming through coaching and training for the Rottnest Channel Swim. I am deeply passionate about swimming and sharing my knowledge of the sport with others to help them achieve.
Swimming competitively for over 10 years, in the pool and open water, I now primarily focus on open water swimming including competing in the Rottnest Channel Solo race for the past 5 years. My long-term goal is to complete the English Channel swim. I am currently in my final year of studying Occupational Therapy and have coached a variety of squads with ranging swimming abilities. I am passionate about swimming and living a balanced healthy lifestyle. I bring my swimming knowledge and passion to help everyone achieve their own personal goals.
