I first became involved with swimming over 15 years ago through Surf Life Saving and more recently Triathlon. I have been coaching both for the past 8 years across a wide range of availabilities including Children, recreational swimmers through to elite level triathletes.
I hope to pass on some of my knowledge of swimming to help as many people as possible to meet and achieve their goals, no matter how big or small.
I recently moved away from swimming competitively after being heavily involved for the past 19 years. I competed at numerous Commonwealth and Olympic trials as well as took opportunities to race and train overseas. I have returned to university to complete my Teaching Masters, staying involved in swimming through coaching and training for the Rottnest Channel Swim. I am deeply passionate about swimming and sharing my knowledge of the sport with others to help them achieve.
I have swum competitively from a very young age and grew up immersed in the sport of swimming. Over the years I have competed at a range of levels from regional, state, and national championships, to the commonwealth games trials. I stopped swimming competitively at the beginning of 2021, with my focus shifting towards completing my degree in occupational therapy. Despite no longer swimming and training at a competitive level, my passion for the sport continues. Moving forward my aim to support others in achieving their own goals in this rewarding sport. .
