VISION

“Swim together for healthier, longer lives”

 

PURPOSE

We enable people of all ages to swim as a community, for health, fun and longevity.

MISSION

Swimming365 provides a unique swimming experience for our members; to swim in a safe environment, at their own competency level, with access to experienced coaches at a world class facility.

VALUES

Swimming365 is committed to living our values through its structure and program.  We strive to continuously review and improve to provide the best value, highest quality and safest environment for our coaches and members.

These are the core values we hold true.

General Code of Conduct

 

Swimming365 promotes the following codes of conduct to all people involved in it’s swimming programs including coaches. These codes of conduct highlight the principles and values of Swimming365 and are the core principles the board espouses.  As a person involved in any way with Swimming365, the following standard of behaviour is expected.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of others.

  • Be ethical considerate, fair and honest in all dealings with other people and organisations at HBF stadium.

  • Understand the possible consequences of breaching Swimming365 codes of conduct.

  • Refrain from any form of abuse, harassment, discrimination or victimisation toward others.

  • Contribute to a safe environment for Swimming365 activities at HBF stadium.

  • Show concern and caution toward others that may be sick or injured.

  • Be a positive role model.

  • Abide by the COVID -19 directions required by the Western Australian Department of Health and HBF Stadium - read.  This includes contact tracing requirements.  See HBF requirements here.

 

 

Member Code of Conduct

 

  • Abide by the Swimming365 General Code of Conduct.

  • Treat all swimming participants with respect.

  • Participate for your own enjoyment and benefit.

  • Respect the rights, dignity and worth of all participants regardless of their gender, ability, ethnicity, cultural background or religion.

  • Ensure that any physical contact with others is appropriate to the situation.

  • Abide by COVID-19 safety requirements and contact tracing at HBF.

 

Coaches code of conduct

 

  • Abide by the Swimming365 General Code of Conduct.

  • Be responsible for matters concerning the coaching, training and development of members.

  • Help each member reach their potential - respect the health, fitness and competency and goals of each person, and compliment and encourage with positive support and feedback.

  • Maintain the required standard of accreditation and/or licensing of professional competencies.

  • Ensure that any physical contact with others is appropriate to the situation and necessary for the person's skill development.

  • Maintain a 'duty of care' towards others and accountability for matters relating to program and COVID-19 safety requirements at HBF.
