"I joined the Swimming365 program in September 2015 and have continued until July 2016. I am only leaving the program as I am returning to Brisbane. I am already seeking a similar program in Brisbane and it would be great if the Swimming365 program had the capacity to expand into other jurisdictions. I enrolled in Swimming365 as I have had some cardiac issues and I have injuries to my lower back and left knee. So I was seeking a program that would improve my fitness, reduce weight and be clinically supervised by Accredited Exercise Physiologists .... from day one, whilst there is in all instances a feeling of apprehension, both participants and health professionals made everyone feel welcome and focus on their individual health and well being. Importantly for me it was encouraging to be actually accepted by a group in Perth given I am an avid Collingwood supporter. The course enables each participant to undertake assessments at the commencement and conclusion which allows for each individual to have an overview of key factors such a weight loss, mobility, body strength and functional reach. Also my swimming technique improved considerably. For me to lose 6.0kgs over the journey and to improve how I felt and at the same time have a greater focus on diet was fantastic. Most importantly when I had my annual visit to my cardiologist he told me he didn’t want to see me for 4 years. So with these results I would recommend the course to anyone because it is not only fun but enables you to constantly monitor diet and exercise which is a fantastic achievement for those who developed and work in the Swimming365 program."
